Manitoba Career Week - Huge Success
Over 700 citizens participated in the AMSC Manitoba Career Week at 1000 Waverley Street, November 4th-7th, 2009.
A comment on the Winnipeg Sun online article, “Expo teaches parents career-coaching skills”, November 5th, 2009:
“Excellent article. I am glad that people are taking this initiative. It is so important for children and teens to feel supported when they need to make important choices about what they will do for the rest of their lives. Believe in your children, and in their ability to do anything they could ever want to do. Their choices should be respected and encouraged. I have met so many miserable young adults who feel guilt because they can’t say no to their parents who want them to be lawyers. doctors, etc… and they don’t want to do that for a living.”
“Every school system should have similar events.”
