AMSC Training & Development Working Group Meeting

collaboration

April 8, 2010
AMSC Training & Development Working Group

The purpose of this committee is to meet regularly to discuss collaborative cross-sectoral training and development opportunities that will meet the needs of the partners that we represent and to build a community of practice within the membership of the Alliance of Manitoba Sector Councils. A collaborative approach allows us to maximize funding dollars, add value to our training initiatives and programs and share best practices with one and another. As representatives from each of the AMSC member organizations, the working group seeks to find innovative, effective and efficient ways to partner and collaborate on new and/or existing cross-sectoral initiatives and opportunities and share lessons learned and best practices with each other and other partners, stakeholders and jurisdictions/regions. The committee also seeks helpful ways to meet the professional development and training needs of the AMSC members.
